Meet Miss Teen Rodeo Idaho 2024 Cearra Henderson!
Cearra Henderson is the 18-year-old daughter of James and Paulette Henderson of Kuna. Cearra won the title of Miss Teen Rodeo Idaho 2024 after sweeping the categories of Appearance, Personality, Horsemanship and Public Speaking in a weeklong competition in Nampa, Idaho, in July 2023. She was crowned Miss Teen Rodeo Idaho 2024 on the dirt of the iconic Snake River Stampede.
Cearra, a senior at Kuna High School, is also a twin. She and her twin sister Taylor have been raised in the Treasure Valley equine community and Cearra has held several rodeo queen titles that have prepared her for her the opportunity to represent rodeo in her home state. She is also a nine- year veteran of Ada County Horse 4H winning many local, county and state awards in shows and Horse
Bowl. In October 2023, Cearra and her teammates placed in the top ten of all Horse Bowl teams nationally.
As a lover of the outdoors and her surrounding community, Cearra is also enrolled in Renaissance High School’s Law Enforcement Program, which has further piqued her interest in becoming a wildlife conservation officer, which she plans to pursue after completing a higher education degree in Animal Science.
When she isn’t competing in any of her four Idaho High School Rodeo Association events or
competing in Ada County Horse 4-H, she loves the opportunity to watch movies with her family
and cuddle with her pets.
Cearra is looking forward to traveling the state of Idaho in 2024 to spread joy and awareness
about the family-friendly sport of rodeo and the value it brings to contestants, fans and
communities.
